We have received notification from REMO that the New York State Department of Health requires that all PCRs contain eight specific items:
- Date (month, date and year)
- Agency code
- Call type (call received as)
- Chief complaint
- Presenting problem (if you indicate more than one presenting problem, be sure to circle the primary problem)
- Three complete sets of vital signs, including times
- Disposition code
PCRs not containing these items are being returned by REMO to the respective agency.
All RRS members are expected to comply with these NYSDOH requirements.
